前沢ガーデンハウス（1982年竣工、槇総合計画事務所設計）の広大な庭園の一角に建つ、劇団のための楽屋の計画です。
利用されるのは１年のうち演劇のイベントのある数日間のみで、他の期間は使用されません。多雪地域で長期間に渡って積雪が続いた後でも問題なく使用できるよう、密閉度の高い輸送用コンテナを転用することにしました。室内はコンテナの内側に断熱材を吹き付け天井はそのまま仕上げ、壁は歩留まりの良い寸法の合板で仕上げる等により、コストダウンと工期短縮に配慮しました。

This is a plan for a dressing room for a theater company, built in a corner of the vast garden of the Maezawa Garden House (completed in 1982, designed by Maki & Associates).
It will be used only for a few days during the year when theatrical events are held and will not be used during the rest of the year. To ensure that the building can be used even after a long period of snowfall in a region with heavy snowfall, we decided to convert a highly airtight shipping container. The interior was designed in consideration of cost reduction and shortening the construction period by spraying insulation material inside the container, finishing the ceiling as is, and finishing the walls with plywood of high yield dimensions.
